A fabulous Gin Tasting Evening
Well done to Kesentri Govender, Este Coetzee and Brenda Lisk on a fabulous Gin Tasting this evening – held to mark World Polio Day, and with the proceeds going towards Rotary International’s PolioPlus programme.
We tasted three delicious gins – Hope African Botanical Gin (kindly donated by Hope Distillery in Cape Town), Belladona Night Shade gin and Dullstroom Christmas gin. Each gin was accompanied by a snack plate with cheese, savoury tarts, roti and curried chicken and a dessert plate with mini milktarts, eclairs and caramel tarts. Delicious!!
We also auctioned a bottle of Hobbs Pink Pepper Gin (also a generous donation by Hope Distillery) – which went for R300 after a fierce bidding war! Thanks, Léandra Krige!
